Global Collaboration: Anorectal Malformation Innovations

ERN eUROGEN has now finalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute in Melbourne, AU, to form a uro-recto-genital collaborative working group on anorectal malformation (ARM) innovations.

Radboudumc, NL and the MCRI are co-supervising Isabel Hageman, ERN eUROGEN Registry Assistant, who, for her PhD, is setting up a registry on anorectal malformations (ARMs) for Australia and New Zealand.

ERN eUROGEN and the MCRI will also exchange knowledge on protocols and data sharing, work on standardising protocols for data collection, exchange current clinical expertise and guideline gap analysis, and develop options to connect existing and future specific registries.

We look forward to an exciting and fruitful collaboration to the benefit of ARM patients and their treating clinicians.
