On 17 May, we received the fantastic news from the EC that we have successfully reached the stage of “Grant Agreement preparation” regarding the proposal we submitted in February for an 18-month direct grant to support the coordination, management, and operational activities of ERN eUROGEN.
Reaching this stage does not constitute a formal commitment for funding or that we will receive the total amount applied for (€1,162,383). The EC will take this decision later, depending on further checks. However, we did well in the evaluation, scoring 88/100 (the threshold was 70), and we are hopeful that we will receive a favourable final decision.
The ERN eUROGEN Coordination Team has three weeks from receiving the letter to prepare the requested clarifications, grant data and annexes, another two weeks to submit our final version, and six weeks from receiving the letter to provide our Declaration of Honour, all of which we are now progressing.
