Endorsement of Role of Hormones in EU Health

Endo-ERN and ERN eUROGEN have endorsed the European Society of Endocrinology‘s declaration ‘Recognizing the Key Role of Hormones in European Health’ (The Milano Declaration)

The ESE has been increasingly active in European policy and advocacy, including relating to the care of patients with rare diseases. In May 2021, they published a White Paper for European policymakers, which included rare diseases with an endocrine origin or component as one of the four key priorities.

The new declaration, which ESE will launch on European Hormone Day, 23 May 2022, aims to emphasise the key priorities of the White Paper to politicians and solicit their endorsement.
