CureforU is an online platform which facilitates better cures for people living with rare or complex diseases by enabling healthcare professionals from the developing and developed worlds to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. ERN eUROGEN signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CureforU in March 2022 to collaborate on shared aims.
CureforU has held 19 case discussion meetings since June 2021, with 38 complex cases (on ARM and Hirschsprung’s) discussed with international experts to potentially improve patient outcomes. Cases from the developed world (i.e., Germany, Austria, Belgium) have also been presented to foster medical learning and knowledge sharing. 100+ paediatric surgeons across 15+ countries from Asia, Africa, and Europe joined these case discussions.
