eUROGEN Webinar: Newborn management – Female patient

On Tuesday 15th December at 18:00 CET, we will be continuing our series of eUROGEN webinars.

This is the third webinar in the series covering all aspects of paediatric colorectal surgery, in particular (congenital) anorectal malformations, and is a joint presentation between ERN eUROGEN and ERN ERNICA.

The webinar will be presented by Dr. Jan-Hendrik Gosemann from Universitätsklinikum Leipzig and Dr. Herjan van der Steeg from Radboudumc Nijmegen, and is aimed at healthcare professionals.

This webinar will present a diagnosis-and-treatment flowchart based on ARM-Net consensus concerning diagnosis and early management of newborns with anorectal malformations (ARM). The presentation will focus on the different ARM in female patients. Diagnostic measures and timing will be presented, supported by pictures of different female ARM. Suggestions concerning diagnostics and further therapy will be given, taking into account the resources and experience of the audience. Take home messages on initial diagnostics and (surgical) management will be provided.
