New call for proposals
A new call for ERNs to apply to the Connecting European Facilities Fund (CEF) was published on 28 June 2018, with a submission deadline of 22 September 2018.  The grant will fund activities related to the effective use of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS) and other IT support for 2019-2020.  A maximum amount of €210,000 is available for each ERN (the co-financing element is 25%).  The full text of the call can be found here. The Coordination team will be busy writing the grant application during the summer!

2017 CEF application
With regard to the successful CEF application, submitted in September 2017, the Grant Agreement has now been signed with Prof. Chris Chapple, eUROGEN Coordinator/Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.  Interviews will be held on 30 July to recruit two new staff – the IT and Data Performance Analyst and the Clinical Data Specialist.  These two new team members will support all eUROGEN health care providers in actively using CPMS.

2018 direct grant from the EU health Programme
This three-year grant will fund the Coordination Team and activities (e.g., meetings, guidelines development work, communications, etc).  This proposal is undergoing evaluation by the EC and we expect to sign the Grant Agreement very soon.  We have negotiated with the EC and agreed a retrospective start date of 1 June 2018 to allow us to allocate the costs of the eUROGEN meeting in Noordwijk to this budget.
