In the New Year, as part of the continual ERN evaluation process, ERN eUROGEN’s healthcare providers (HCPs) will be asked, as usual, to collect data on patient numbers seen in their centre for the previous year for the expertise areas they cover, alongside a number of other metrics that help demonstrate the benefit of the network. However, for 2024, there will be a slight difference in the process.
In previous years, all information was provided directly to the ERN eUROGEN Coordination Team. For 2024’s collection, the HCPs will need to input their new patient numbers, alongside whether their HCP utilises Orphacodes, directly to the European Commission via an online portal. The deadline for completing this online information will be the end of February.
The Coordination Team will send a more comprehensive email to all member HCPs before the Christmas and New Year holidays to give further details on how this will all work.
