CPMS Common Problems & Troubleshooting

If you are having problems with either accessing or using CPMS, please refer to the common issues below for potential solutions in the first instance. If these do not solve your problem, or you have feedback with regard to using the system, please email the ERN eUROGEN CPMS Helpdesk.

EU Login

I have changed my mobile phone and I can no longer log in to my account

You can solve this by following these steps:

  • Go to the EU Login page via this link: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/cas
  • Ensure that the verification method is set to ‘Password’
  • Log in
  • Toward the top right of your page, you should see your name next to a cog wheel
  • Hover over this and select ‘My Account’ from the menu
  • Select ‘Delete all my devices and EID’ and then click Delete
  • Once this is done, please register your new device through the usual procedure


I have logged into CPMS but I cannot see anything on the pages

The most likely cause of this is that you have accessed CPMS via Internet Explorer, which is not a supported browser for this application. You should instead access the system through one of the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge. The latter is included with the Windows 10 operating system, but will not be the default browser, and therefore you will need to access it via the Start Menu.
